First Visit
We look forward to meeting you during your first visit to our office and providing new-patient information. During this time, we will acquaint you with our office, introduce you to the friendly people who will become part of your dental wellness journey, and afford information about orthodontic treatment. We understand that each patient’s orthodontic treatment is different, and we promise to give you the personal attention you deserve, tailoring our discussion to your specific concerns or wishes. Your first visit will consist of a free initial examination and a discussion of your potential treatment options. This important visit will allow the orthodontist to determine whether this is the ideal time to begin treatment.

During Your First Visit, We Will Address the Following Questions That Cover the Basics of Orthodontic Treatment. We Encourage You to Ask Questions As Well.
If the patient is ready for treatment, we will explain the need for the creation of orthodontic records and set an appointment for this important first step. After we have evaluated your orthodontic records (which happens during the same visit), we will conduct a treatment consultation to explain all aspects of your orthodontic treatment in detail. We will provide a complete clinical diagnosis regarding the nature of the problem, a written summary of the findings, and a detailed plan that outlines your treatment as well as its goals and estimated fees. We encourage questions from both the patient and his or her parents or guardians (if the patient is not an adult), and as such, we provide ample time for a two-way discussion.
Open Communication
We believe that good orthodontic care begins with open communication — and we maintain that open communication portal throughout the entire process. We promise to speak candidly with you about our diagnosis and recommendations, any alternative treatments, and any symptoms present that may require further treatment; further, we will keep you apprised of your progress as well as any possible timeline shifts, etc., during your entire journey. Working together, we can achieve a true partnership that is founded on one common goal: helping you achieve a beautiful, confident and healthy smile!
Orthodontic Records Appointment
A fee applies for orthodontic records. The orthodontic diagnostic record fee is a part of the total comprehensive treatment fee.
Our fees for orthodontic therapy are determined based on the treatment that is required for each individual patient, and cannot be established until all the diagnostic data has been analyzed and a treatment plan is formulated.
The fee for orthodontic treatment and various payment plan options will be explained in detail during the consultation appointment. If you have dental insurance, we will review your orthodontic benefits in detail during the consultation appointment. Providing us with your current dental insurance (not medical) information enables us to conduct an accurate review of your orthodontic benefits.
